• Mary Petersen

    Mary Petersen brings to her conference management business over 20 years' experience as a television producer and network executive. Since she launched Vivo Entertainment, Inc. in 1998 she has created and branded three recurring executive summits and consulted on dozens of other conferences, roundtables and meetings sponsored by leading corporations, associations and educational institutions. Under the Vivo Entertainment umbrella Ms. Petersen not only provides a range of producing and consulting services to diverse organizations and institutions, but also produces annual conferences that enable women leaders to debate critical trends that will affect leadership and business in the next 25 years. 

    Prior to founding Vivo Entertainment, Ms. Petersen spent most of her career in senior management at CBS Television. During her six years as Vice President of Strategic Marketing, she served as publisher of Good Morning Magazine and launched CBS Daytime's first licensing department. As Vice President of ABC Morning Television, she directed the programming strategy for Good Morning America, which soon became the top-rated morning program in the country. At ABC News, she served as an editor for such major news programs as ABC Evening News.

    She has been featured in CEO Magazine, Chief Learning Officer magazine, and CNN.com. She is an advisor to Woodhull Institute, and serves on the Boards of The Redstone Partnership and The Council on Competitiveness' Strategic Communications Initiative. She is also a member of The International Women's Forum.

    Ms. Petersen graduated cum laude from Syracuse University's School of Public Communication and holds a special studies degree from the University of Grenoble, France

    Ms. Petersen lives in Manhattan with her husband and has two daughters.
