Bob Adam founded Active Family Tours in 1985 after moving back to his native RI from a long career in Event Management in NYC.  The goal of Active Family Tours is to provide affordable, safe, and  active family vacations.

Bob has been a member of the RI Tourist Council since 1986 and served as its President for two terms.  He is presently on the Board of the RI Arts Council and the Historic Society.  An avid sailor, Bob can usually be found launching his Laser from Quonset Point’s Rose Beach.
